Kings Plaza is more than “Brooklyn’s Favorite Place to Shop”. We also support many local non-profit organizations with grants, sponsorships and raffle prizes for their fundraisers. Kings Plaza partners with local organizations to bring interesting and fun events to the mall. Some of these partnerships include:

AYSO – Kings Plaza provides a sponsorship to this
local chapter of the American Youth Soccer Organization. AYSO holds their meetings
in the Kings Plaza Community Room and hosts Team Registrations right in the mall.

|
Flatbush Boys & Girls Club – Kings Plaza is the
host site for the Boys & Girls Club Annual Fashion Show. These gifted and talented
young people strut down the runway at the mall wearing their original creations
and providing entertainment for our customers.

|
Celebrate Brooklyn! – Kings Plaza has been an
annual supporter of the Celebrate Brooklyn! Opening Night Gala. This wonderful organization
brings a series of free concerts to Prospect Park.

|
Brooklyn Boy Scouts – Kings Plaza is the host
site for the Brooklyn Boy Scouts Annual Pinewood Derby. Hundreds of scouts descend
upon the mall each March with their race cars and compete for trophies and bragging
rights!

|
Pathmark Caribbean Festival – Each year the Pathmark
Multicultural Festival brings the Caribbean Festival to Kings Plaza. Wonderful performers
dance to the rhythms of the steel pan drums and bring West Indian costumes, music,
food and culture to the mall.

|
Health and Wellness Fair – Twice each year Kings
Plaza partners with the Brooklyn Housing and Family Services to host a Health and
Wellness Fair at the mall. Exhibitors from local health agencies and hospitals distribute
information and provide health screenings to mall customers.

|
Job Fair – In cooperation with the Employment
Guide, Kings Plaza is the host site for several job fairs throughout the year. Employees
from throughout the region set up tables, disseminate information about job openings,
conduct interviews and collect resumes from job seekers at the mall.

|
Blood Drives – Throughout the year Kings Plaza
is the site for the Brooklyn Blood Bank Donor Drive. Over the years Kings Plaza
customers have donated over a thousand pints of blood to help their neighbors.

|
Brooklyn Cyclones – Kings Plaza has a wonderful relationship with the Brooklyn Cyclones Baseball Team in Coney Island, Brooklyn.
We host Kings Plaza Night at the stadium, Cyclones players and mascots Sandy the Seagull and PeeWee visit a Kings Kids Club meeting to sign autograph baseballs
and the Cyclones hold their National Anthem Auditions at the mall.
